2012 Junior Pacific Cup - Bernardo Heights Country Club
The Junior Pacific Cup started in 2009. Australia and the USA have always had a great friendship and in particular Victoria and California. What better way to enjoy our friendship than to set up a Ryder Cup style tournament and format between the two countries. The US Consulate was the first to offer assistance to their team and have been a great support for the tournament at Yering Meadows. It is a great way to see each others country, make new friends, and enjoy the friendly competition.
Each year, alternatively at Bernado Heights in San Diego and at Yering Meadows in Melbourne, players get to stay with host families which has been a great experience for all. In addition to great golf, we also get out to see the sights around our state.

2012 Junior Pacifc Cup Schedule (Jan 22 - Jan 29)
- Sunday, Jan 22 - Australian team arrives in the morning. Practice rounds at 1:52pm and 2pm.
- Monday - Bernardo CC is closed on Mondays. Group outing TBA.
- Tuesday - Noon AM/AM, followed by welcome dinner and speaker.
- Wednesday - Round 1 of 3 - 9:20am first tee time. Front nine, two man best ball. Back nine, alternate shot.
- Thursday - Round 2 of 3 - 11:30 am first tee time. Front nine, alternate shot. Back nine, two man best ball.
- Friday - Round 3 of 3 - 9:20am first tee time. 18-hole singles matches.
- Saturday - Sight-seeing day.
- Sunday - Players attend Farmer's Insurance Open, PGA Tour event at Torrey Pines Golf Course. Australian team departure from Los Angeles.
